Catching up!

Wow! It has been foreeevveerrr since I've been on here! There has really been a lot go on, and theres NO WAY that I could go back and recap on everything! So I'll just start new and talk about the most recent things. We recently celebrated Christmas. Its always one of my favorite times of the year! Not because of presents, but because I absolutly LOVE spending time with family! Anytime we can all get together is always a special and memorable time. I know that sometimes 5 kids can be quite loud and really test peoples tempers, but I love it. This Christmas was a hard one on Tim and I financially though. I once again couldnt really get Tim what I wanted to get him due to me not working and being in school. I cant wait for next Christmas though (hopefully Ill have a steady job by then!) Also our septic needed to be worked on, and that took a big chunk out of our savings, but thanks to Nonnies Christmas money, it didn't hurt us as bad as we thought! Thanks Mona! Other than that is was a really good Christmas and I'm always sad to see it end!

Happy Halloween!

Well we just celebrated Halloween!!! What a fun time of year! Although I did not get to carve pumpkins like I would have liked.. We still had a lot of fun! Tim and Steve were at the UT game, so it was quite an experience going trick or treating with the dogs by myself!! But we rode around with Kimberly and her kids and also Kristy and Will were with us! They all looked soo adorable!! Cant wait till next year!

4th of July 2009

Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays! I love that atmosphere of having the family around and cooking out and just being in the company all day of the people I love! Sometimes we manage to even get a family game in.. sometimes not.. Its hard with 5 little ones running around. After we hung out by the pool all day we all went to the fireworks in Kingston. I think its amazing how well our family gets along! I coudnt ask for a better "in law" family although they are more my family than anyone else.

Our children

Our children are our dogs Timber and Layla... We truly love them as if they were our children. Timber was born April 2, 2006 and Layla was born September 17, 2007 so we just celebrated her 2nd birthday. For anyone who doesn't have pets, they truly are amazing creatures. Sometimes they truly act like humans its scary! It is hard not being able to hear what they think though. I can only hope that they are truly happy with the life we have given them, but how do you know? I pray for them everynight when I say my prayers along with the rest of my family and friends. They are my life.

Honeymoon

Leaving Miami
In Jamaica

During the life jacket drill...

Our honeymoon was one of the best vacations I have ever been on... I'm not going to say a lot about it, but we went on a Carnival Cruise to Freeport Bahamas, Grand Cayman Islands, and Costa Maya Mexico. Although we were not able to dock at Costa Maya because the waves were too strong it was still such a wonderful honeymoon!!

Our Wedding Day June 2, 2007

Tim and I got married on June, 2, 2007 at Riverside Baptist Church in Harriman, TN. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Every little girl thinks about what her wedding day is going to be like, and mine was wonderful! Its one of those days you will never forget. I can never thanks everyone enough who was a part of that special day!

Engagement July 21, 2006

Tim and I had been dating for 4 years when he proposed to me in Myrtle Beach, SC. We were on vacation with his family, and one night he had asked me if I would like to go lay on the beach... I was shocked that he wanted to do this because its not like him at all, but I never turn times like that down. So we went to lay on the beach, and we took a blanket, and a pillow... It was so peaceful and there were still people walking on the beach even though it was like 11 pm! But after a while Tim had suggested that we get up and go for a walk... he said he was tired of laying there. I said sure, and waited for him to get up. Well he wanted me to get up first, and any other time I would have argued this point and said "Well why dont you get up 1st!!" but I didnt want to ruin the mood because he was being extra sweet.... So I got up, and he only got up to one knee.... Then he pulled a box out of his pocket, and asked if I would marry him! I was soo shocked because I was NOT expecting that at all!! But of course I said yes... so we ran inside the hotel room where his family was to tell them the news... And I'm not sure, but I think his older sister KImberly was the only one that knew ahead of time, so everyone else was shocked also! When I look back on that vacation, I always remember how many "signs" there were... It seemed like everywhere we went there were signs of getting married, and everystation we listened to said something about it.. it was the weirdest thing... And I know Tims parents were thrilled about the idea at first, but I am sooo thankful to them for accepting me into their family..
